MasierAcademy is a project of great value dedicated to Livio Romare, the celebrated volleyball player who in the 1990s led the Jockey Volley team of Schio to success. Romare was a great supporter of young people, and this scholarship programme is a tribute to his vision.
Created in 2018, MasierAcademy each year rewards five young students from the secondary schools of Schio who stand out for excellence in both sport and study, underlining the importance of the SCHOOL/SPORT pairing. A further recognition, the sixth "special" scholarship, goes to a student who has stood out for a particular and noteworthy personal story.
The 2025 ceremony
The scholarship award ceremony takes place at the Palazzetto Livio Romare, involving all students of the Schio Upper Secondary Schools, in a morning of inspiration. During the event, which this year takes place on 9 April, champions of sport and champions of life share their experiences with the students. The talks are recorded so they can be watched again comfortably on YouTube by the young people, their friends or family.
Support from Sella Farmaceutici and Bioton
For several years, Sella Farmaceutici has enthusiastically supported MasierAcademy, as an initiative that closely reflects the company's values, always a supporter of sport and well-being and of virtuous activities such as this. The support is provided under the Bioton brand, the dietary supplement line created to provide natural energy to young people, adults and seniors.
This is thanks to adaptogens, the main ingredients, which support cognitive and physical functions, providing vitality and energy to face every day with grit, both in daily challenges and in sporting activities.
