Founded in 2018, it is today Italy's leading team in international cycling. Backed by the legacy of two founders of the calibre of Ivan Basso and Alberto Contador, Team Polti VisitMalta has participated in the Giro d'Italia for 5 consecutive years, where it has won two mountain stages (in 2021 on the legendary Zoncolan and in 2023 on Gran Sasso) and is frequently invited to some of the most prestigious races on the professional calendar, such as Milano-Sanremo and Il Lombardia.
